“Splendour in the Grass,” the title of a 1961 American historical drama film and also the name of a popular Australian music festival held annually in July, is taken from Romantic poet William Wordsworth’s most incredible creation, “Ode: Intimations of Immortality from Recollections of Early Childhood”.
